In comparison, WWD reported, the mass affluent -- with a net worth of $1 million to $10 million -- will spend $2100 on fashion (that's just enough to snag a Louis Vuitton (Buy Direct) Manhattan GM bag and have a bit left over for wrapping paper.)
So enough about the super rich. What about regular fashion lovers?

Wish List: Fun Juicy Watch
So many watches -- like bold mens' watches worn by women -- are waaaaay too serious. They are chunky and solid and loaded with dials and gadgets the average woman is never going to use (like, say, the tachymeter found on chronographs that compute speed based on travel time).
This Juicy Couture watch ($150, Buy Direct) is the antithesis of the serious watch. From its cute crinkly patent strap to its jingly charms ("J" and hearts), this Juicy Couture watch is pure fun. It comes with all a girl needs from a watch: it tells time and looks good doing it. Plus it comes with a signature Juicy Couture gift box. (Photo Credit: eLuxury.com)

What to Wear If You're a Thanksgiving Hostess
I still don't have a menu planned out, but I have a pretty good idea of what I'll wear this Thanksgiving when I serve dinner to the family. As adorable as all of the fancy sleeves are right now, I can't think of anything more disgusting than lantern sleeves dipping into the gravy or kimono sleeves slipping into the stuffing. So I'm opting for something short sleeved and belted with a bit of shine. More ideas about what to wear if you're a holiday hostess. (Photo Credit: Nordstrom.com)

Fool Mother Nature!
So I've spent the past two days sick in bed, using my down time to catch up on important things like sleep and makeover shows. I love "What Not to Wear" (Stacy London's coming out with her own talk show on TLC later in late November) but there's also a new (to me anyway) show on TLC called "10 Years Younger" that is addictive. It takes a woman and puts her in a clear box where people guess her age. Then she gets a makeover and the results are amazing. Fashion plays a big part of it -- alongside dermabrasion, cosmetic dentistry, even acupuncture -- and it's a great reminder how dressing more youthful can change a woman's appearance
